Review: Smallville Season 3

Hey hey hey!

Another season of Smallville done!

I almost forgot to review it for my faithful readers.

I would to first start off by saying that I’ve brought Mike into the fold and he is addicted to the point where he is on Episode 16 of Season 4 while I am on Episode 4.

What can I say? What should I say? I know there are people out there that hate spoilers (such as myself) so I won’t go into that terrain.

What did I like about this season? Got a little darker…WAY darker in a few spots with the Luthors…less and less non-mythology episodes, more and more interesting plotlines.

What didn’t I like?
Well…I find the formula was wearing thin a little. Lana and Clark – they are like Dawson and Joey. On again, off again, blah blah blah. Is that what makes us love these shows? Because we are always wondering if they will work it out? Let’s be honest – In Superman III, we know that they never really hit it off after school. But, at the same time, Smallville is re-writing the history of Superman in some spots, so they can change on a moment’s notice.

Season 3: Final Verdict – Pretty killer episodes mythology wise. Best I’ve seen yet. The other filler episodes…meh.

Sneak Peek at Season 4: All I can say is that I’ve seen 4 episodes already and the series has new blood in it. I’m glad. It’s not old anymore. By the way, interesting developments with a certain someone with the initials LL. I am laughing at this because Eric was mentioning there is a fascination with the initials LL throughout the series…Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lana Lang…etc. I figured it may be because Superman’s real name is Kal-El.
